YUMA-S is a robust industrial fiber hemp strain recognized for its fine, high-quality bast fibers and efficient growth cycle. It stands out for its adaptability to various soil conditions, making it a reliable choice for farmers seeking consistent fiber yields. With a slightly thinner stalk compared to other fiber-dominant varieties, Han NE is particularly well-suited for textile production, offering a soft yet durable fiber ideal for fabrics and upholstery. Additionally, its balanced fiber-to-hurd ratio makes it a versatile option for applications such as specialty papers and eco-friendly composites.

This variety is suited for latitudes 30-45 degrees. The origin is China This strain is dioecious and will work for both fiber or grain depending upon the time it is planted.

Latitude
Latitude is very important. Make sure your location fits within the latitude specified or you may get plants that flower one month after sprouting.

Seeding rates for Fiber
75-110 pounds per acre. R
ecommended planting between mid March through May. 13-18' feet tall males and females. Harvest at the end of July through early August. Flowering begins usually in August.

Seeding Rates for Grain
25-35 pounds per acre. Plant between May though early June. Flowering begins in September and seeds are ready to harvest in September through October.

Storage conditions
50°F, 10°C • 40% humidity
Storage >1 year: Freeze

Industrial hemp is defined as cannabis having 0.3% or less THC in the leaves and flowers. Please note these seeds are not certified and should be harvested for fiber prior to flowering to avoid levels of THC above 0.3%. If growing for grain/seeds, THC levels begin to drop once the flowers are fertilized and seed production commences.
